  Operations Manager is urgently required for a well-known multinational IT company. Cairo-based I-M is looking for an experienced Director of Operations to join the executive team, taking charge of the Operations organization including the departments of Technology & Product R&D, Key account and delivery management, Supply chain management and IT.
Job Requirements:
• --pluse years of experience in IT industry in a managerial position
• Excellent English and German language skills (Professional fluency)
• A good knowledge of Project and Services Delivery Management
• An effective and progressive leader with experience of directing and developing multi-disciplined teams
• An experienced leader of change with the ability to lead and direct others towards acceptance of new business ideas, methods and working practices.
• A clear understanding of transformational leadership and an ability to change organizations, culture and behaviors
• A driver of people and projects with a very strong commercial awareness and a track record of achievement on complex and demanding contracts and accounts
• Ability and experience in developing strong relationships with strategic partners and key customers to support account development and long-term sustainable and profitable tenure
• A proven track record of setting up and managing supply chain partners, multiple suppliers and sub-contractors
• Educated to degree level and a member of a relevant professional institute

Job Description:
• Develop strong relationships with strategic partners’ and clients’ staff and their representatives applying Key Account Management principles in order to foster sustainable long-term relationships at every level and optimise the market position of I-M
• Prepare with the different stakeholders an annual business plan and budget for the portfolio
• Carry out regular monthly Project reviews; including progress of projects; quality; HW&SW; Equipment & Supplies; Relationships & Key accounts; and the I-M InnoSub
• Manage suppliers and sub-contractors effectively both financially and commercially. Ensure all I-M supply chain and procurement processes and procedures are followed
• Develop and maintain relationships with all the clients’ departments including those of the operational teams (project management, product development, system engineering, service desk, IT, …)
• Ensure the maintenance of accurate administration files
• Ensure management and close supervision of assigned staff, off-site I-M staff when visiting partners, clients, sub-contractors and suppliers
• Provide leadership and direction to assigned staff and developing skills matrix and development plans applying strategic HR management principles
• Take ownership of projects/accounts and provide support as and when required
• Ensure correct skill & competence levels of Cairo-based team to meet the activity system scope
• Strategic planning of resources with HR to ensure readiness for future expansion
• Preparation of the monthly report, listing all relevant activities that occurred during the month including projects, incidents, achievements, proposals and tenders completed
• Be conversant with all statutory compliance processes and procedures
• Ensure that all I-M guidelines, policies, procedures and standards are in place, communicated, understood and adhered too
• Ensure the departments/projects have suitable, qualified and experienced teams in place with an appropriate reporting structure, by deploying appropriate HR strategies to recruit, develop, motivate and retain the required capabilities in collaboration with HR and the department leadership
• Ensure that all operational activities are conducted in accordance with standard I-M policies and procedures; in particular:

• Develop and promote an organisational culture, which reflects the I-M Brand and core values of the business, such that a positive employee relations climate and working environment of continuous improvement is created
• To actively and positively promote the image of I-M at all times and to maintain good working relationships with partners, clients, suppliers and other external parties

Work Conditions:
