- Develop and administer project budgets and fiscal controls, contracts, and quality control provisions; perform project cost estimating and value engineering, as appropriate.
-Responsibility in meeting project budget and make a save whenever possible,
-Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day management of the construction project; monitor and coordinate work performed by engineering, and construction departments.
-Liaison with project consultants and owners.
-Review and interpret proposed drawings and execution plans with the in house technical office for appropriateness to required function, and initiates revisions where appropriate.
-Prepare project specifications, and coordinates procurement, as appropriate.
-Authorize the issuance of contracts, purchase orders, and change orders, and approves contractor invoices for payment.
-Direct work sequencing to expedite project delivery and to minimize disruption of ongoing operations.
-Inspects, approves, and accepts completed projects for the institution, ensuring conformance with institutional standards, building and life safety codes, and civilian engineering specifications.
-Represent the institution in business with customers, consultants, contractors, and other public and private agencies and organizations.
- Achieving project time schedule.
Requirements:
Bachelors in Civil Engineering
Experience in (Civil as Executive) with the below criteria:
Experience from 15 to 20 years in the field of Project Construction.
Additional requirements:
-Very good command of English language,
-High computer skills - Microsoft Office, Auto Cad, Primavera,
-HSE (health, safety & Environment), preferably.
